The Airline: Czech Airlines


Czech Airlines j.s.c. (Czech: České aerolinie, a.s.), trading as Czech Airlines (abbreviation: ČSA - České státní aerolinie -), is the national airline of the Czech Republic and temporary in Slovakia with its head office on the grounds of Ruzyně Airport in Ruzyně, Prague. ČSA was the second airline in the world to initiate successful jet airliner services (in 1957 using the Tu-104) and simultaneously the first airline to fly regular jet-only routes (between Prague and Moscow). Today, it operates scheduled services to 69 destinations in 41 countries, including most major European cities and cities in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia. It also operates charter and cargo services.
The airline runs a frequent flyer programme called "OK Plus" in reference to the airline's IATA designation, as well as the term of approval; OK also featured prominently in its previous livery. It is a member of the SkyTeam alliance. In 2009 it carried 5.5 million passengers. The company never paid dividends, after losing a record CZK 3.8 billion in 2009 the state had to subscribe new shares with nominal value CZK 2.5 billion.

České aerolinie, a.s. (ČSA) jsou národní letecká společnost České republiky, původně Československa, se sídlem na Ruzyňském mezinárodním letišti v Praze.

Provozují pravidelné linky do řady evropských měst, destinací v západní Asii a severní Africe. Provozují také řadu charterových linek, na českém trhu patřily mezi největší charterové dopravce. Slouží také jako cargo dopravce. ČSA přepravily za rok 2009 5,5 milionu cestujících. Společnost nikdy nevyplácela dividendy, po rekordní ztrátě 3,8 miliardy korun za rok 2009 musel stát upsat nové akcie za 2,5 miliardy korun. ČSA má věrnostní program pro často létající cestující, nazvaný „OK Plus Frequent Flyer Programme“. Je členem aliance leteckých společností SkyTeam.

Jha hails from Bihar. Her family had to move a lot as her father is an Indian government employee. She was voted Ms. Maharashtra and went on to win the Ms Personality award on Miss India contest in 2005.

After winning the award, she started modeling and appeared in a few music videos. She also hosted a TV show along with Sajid Khan.
After appearing in a small role in Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), she made her Hindi film debut in Hijack (2008), playing Shiney Ahuja's wife on screen. Thereafter she acted in a few Hindi movies, but it was Telugu films where she moved towards later on making her debut in 2008 with Nagaram, along side Srikanth.

She juggles being an air hostess with Air India and her acting career simultaneously.
